How We Make Money
Some links on this site earn us a commission. Here is exactly how that works, and exactly what it does not affect.
The short version
Three sentences, then the detail.
FullStack Alpha earns affiliate commission when you buy some of the tools we review.
That commission never affects a score, a ranking, or whether a tool gets covered at all.
We do not accept payment for placement, coverage, or a higher rating. Ever.
How we make money
AI Stock Picker App is free to read and always will be. There is no paywall, no subscription, and no premium tier.
The site is funded by affiliate commission. When you click through to a tool we’ve reviewed and buy a subscription, the company pays us a referral fee. It costs you nothing extra, and in some cases you get a discount you wouldn’t have found otherwise.
That’s the whole model. No sponsored posts, no paid reviews, no advertorials dressed up as editorial.
What commission does not affect
This is the part that matters, so it gets its own section.
It does not affect the score.
Every tool is rated on the five pillars of the FullStack Alpha Score: Signal Quality, Transparency, Price-to-Value, Usability, and Community Verdict. Commission is not one of them. The full method is on the How We Test page.
It does not affect the ranking.
Every roundup on this site is sorted by Alpha Score, highest to lowest. Not by payout, not by cookie length, not by which program pays recurring. If a tool that pays us nothing outranks one that pays well, it appears above it.
It does not affect coverage.
We review tools because readers ask about them or because they matter in the category, not because they have an affiliate program. Several tools on this site pay us nothing at all.
It does not soften a bad review.
If a tool we earn from has real problems, we say so on the page where we earn from it. A watch-out section that omits the watch-outs is worthless to you and would make the rest of the site worthless too.
Where the money would change things, and why it doesn’t
Here’s the honest version of the incentive problem.
An affiliate site makes more money when the highest-paying tool ranks first. That is a real pull, and pretending it isn’t would be insulting. Most of the sites competing with us resolve it quietly, in the direction of the money.
Two structural things keep FullStack Alpha out of that trap.
We don’t sell a competing tool.
There is no house product to protect and no in-house screener to place at number one. That single fact removes the biggest reason review sites in this space bend their rankings, and it’s a reason most of our competitors cannot claim.
The score is published before the button.
The five-pillar breakdown appears above every affiliate link on the page. You see the reasoning and the number before you see the offer, so you can disagree with the recommendation and still use the data.
Who we have relationships with
We maintain affiliate relationships with some of the companies whose tools we review. That list changes as programs open and close, and we update this page when it does.
Assume that any tool review on this site may contain an affiliate link. Where a tool has no program, or we’re not in it, there’s simply no link to click and no commission earned.
If you’d rather not use our links, that’s completely fine. Search the tool’s name and go direct. The reviews are free either way, and nothing on this site is gated behind a click.
What we don’t do
No paid placement.
We do not sell spots on lists. If a company offers to pay for a ranking, the answer is no.
No paid reviews.
We do not accept money to review a product or to review it favorably.
No sponsored content presented as editorial.
If something on this site were ever sponsored, it would be labeled at the top of the page in plain language, not buried in a footer.
No fake urgency or invented discounts.
If we mention a deal, it’s a real deal that exists.
No affiliate links inside a Reddit or user quote.
Quotes are evidence, not advertising space. We also exclude any quote we find carrying somebody else’s affiliate code.
Financial disclaimer
This part is separate from the money question and just as important.
- FullStack Alpha is not a financial advisor. Nothing on this site is investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a solicitation of any kind. We review software. We do not tell you what to trade.
- We are not licensed or registered as an investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner with any regulatory body.
- No tool on this site can predict the market. We don’t publish price predictions, target prices, or return promises, and we treat any tool that leads with a return figure with heavy skepticism, because those numbers are almost never audited.
- Trading involves risk of loss. Any tool we rate highly can still be used to lose money. Software does not manage risk for you, and no scanner, screener, or AI stock picker changes the fact that the outcome of a trade is yours.
- Do your own research. Use our reviews to narrow the field, then verify pricing, features, and terms on the vendor’s own site before you pay for anything. Consider speaking with a licensed professional about your own situation before making financial decisions.
Questions about any of this
